I was invited by a friend to attend a beginner salsa class at this studio and I’m glad I said yes. \ud83d\ude42 I went solo. The environment was welcoming, and I had the chance to dance with several different partners throughout the night, despite that fact that some participants appeared to be there on a date night.

The class was a fun refresher for someone like me who danced salsa informally as a kid and teenager. The class started with the fundamentals, including the basic steps forward and back movement, side-to-side transitions, and a spin.

I\u2019d definitely recommend this class to newbies. If you already know your way around the dance floor, I understand there are higher-skill classes too.

The class was a little difficult to find when I first arrived. The class is hosted in a studio on the second floor where other dance classes are happening. Parking was also relatively easy to find (I parked a couple of blocks away and then walked over), given the studio’s location near a busy intersection.

Overall, a really fun and friendly experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheryl choreographed and taught us our wedding dance – the entire experience was wonderful. The choreograph was perfect, and even included some special requests (a knee slide!), and she was supportive, patient and caring throughout the whole process.

When we first saw the choreography we thought there was no way we could pull it off, it after 10 lessons we had it nailed.

We had our dancing classes for our first dance for our wedding in September 2022. Cheryl was so sweet, patient and an amazing teacher. We started off NOT knowing how to dance at all to be able to impress all our guests at our wedding with a beautiful first dance only after\u2026 three classes!
