On the evening of July 22, residents and visitors of Le Plateau Mont Royal neighborhood witnessed an unforgettable experience at the Duluth en Arts street festival, thanks to the performance by the students of dance school, Dance Conmigo.
The students practiced during eight weeks to present this choreography.
The choreography combined different dance style such as Salsa, Tango, West Coast Swing, Samba, and some Jazz routines. The choreography was created by our choreographer Cheryl Williams.
What made this performance even more remarkable was the inclusion of students from various skill levels.
The audience, comprised of festival-goers of all ages, was thoroughly entertained and engaged throughout the performance. Smiles, cheers, and applause rippled through the crowd, creating an atmosphere of shared joy and appreciation. Dance Conmigo had indeed succeeded in not only animating the festival but also in forging a connection between the performers and the spectators.
The Duluth en Arts street festival provided the perfect platform for Dance Conmigo to showcase the culmination of hard work, dedication, and a shared love for dance. It was a reminder of the power of artistic expression to bring people together, transcending barriers and creating moments of unity that linger in the hearts and memories of all those involved.
