Dance Conmigo was invited to do a Tango performance and a class at Universite de Montreal for their intercultural week, organised by Action humanitaire et communautaire. The objective was to make the students aware of the different cultures around the world.
Alain Guillot and Cheryl Williams started with a tango demo. Curious passersby stopped to see the dancers. As soon as there was a small crowd, we asked members of the public to participate in the dance class. Dancers were dripping in slowly. At the end we had about 10 people dancing on the floor. It was a fun event. We were grateful for such a nice opportunity.
